The return of Muñoz
There was a Superclasico atmosphere at Boca Junior’s practice yesterday. With the big game against River coming up this week end, the Xeneize team trained in front of over a hundred fans who’d come to cheer the gold and blue team. Morel Rodríguez, Chávez and Mouche were absent after playing against Tigre in the reserves. However, the young Ezequiel Muñoz made his comeback.
For the Xeneizes, the big news was the return of Ezequiel Muñoz. After undergoing surgery for ruptured ligaments in his right knee, the defender is back on track.
In the last part of his recovery, the young fullback- considered one of the greatest promises for the club- will resume playing on the professional team, while Italy’s Fiorentina continues to try to sign him on a multi-million contract, although Muñoz has only played one First Division game.
