Romagnoli : « We’re ready to put up a fight »


The San Lorenzo midfielder announced that that his team will be fighting hard in this championship. “It’s the only competition we have and it is our obligation to aim high.”


Buenos Aires, Thursday, January 14, 2010 - Leandro Romagnoli assured that the squad managed by Diego “Cholo” Simeone will be putting up a high-calibre fight for the championship, “because our pre-season training is going well. This is San Lorenzo and it is our obligation to aim high.”


The ex-Porting Lisboa player is recovering from a knee injury and thinks that he’ll be back in the game at the second or third round of of the 2010 Clausura tournament. As to where he’ll be playing on the field, Romagnoli is firm: “The important part is playing. It’s up to the coach to decide the position of his players.”
